This tour is the culmination of his choices of places not-to-be-missed when visiting southern, central, and the Eastern peninsula of Mexico. As you might have heard, nobody can do it better than the Argonauts, so join us in this exuberant adventure to the beautiful and magical México.

Day 1: Departure from Tucson (7 am) & Green Valley (7:30am) to Hermosillo airport to take our non stop flight to Puebla. Arrive in Puebla in the evening. Overnight in Puebla . Lunch and dinner on own.

Day 2: After breakfast (included) Puebla City Tour. Founded April 16, 1531 by the name of “Puebla de los Ángeles”, the city of Puebla lies at the foot of the Popocatépetl and Iztaccíhuatl volcanoes, at about 125 kilometers (77.67 miles) southeast from the Mexican capital. Known as the fourth largest and most important city of Mexico, Puebla was also declared “World Heritage Site” by the UNESCO. Overnight in Puebla. Lunch & Dinner on own.

Day 3: After breakfast (included), check out the hotel and we will take or motor coach to Veracruz. Baptized with the name of la Villa Rica de la Vera Cruz by the one and only Hernán Cortés, the municipality of Veracruz was the first city to be founded by the Spanish conquerors in the New World; the main reason being it was used as starting point in the conquest of Mexico, as well as main communication port between the old continent and the New Spain

Overnight in Veracruz. Lunch & Dinner on own.

Day 4: After breakfast (included) ,we will visit Papantla and El Tajin. Papantla was founded by the Totonac native Americans

around the year 1200. The city is home to a Museum of Totonac Culture and the important Pre-Columbian Totonac site of El Tajín is also in the municipality. It is a principal producer of vanilla in Mexico. The city is still called "The city that perfumes the world".

Overnight in Veracruz. Lunch & Dinner on own.

Day 5: After breakfast (included), check out of the hotel and be ready to continue our trip to Tlacotalpan, the city of the famous Agustin Lara and Catemaco. Located at the foothills of the Sierra de los Tuxtlas, south from the state of Veracruz, Catemaco stands out for its famous lagoon and extensive biodiversity but, above all, because of the magic surrounding this marvelous location.

Overnight in Catemaco. Lunch & Dinner on own. 

Day 6: After breakfast (included), check out of the hotel and be ready to continue our trip toVillahermosa, state capital of Tabasco and Palenque for a two night stay.  Lunch & Dinner on own.

Day 7: After breakfast (included) Tour of Palenque, ancient Mayan city. Its archeological zone has over 200 structures among which stand out the monuments of the Great Palace. Lunch & Dinner on own. Overnight in Palenque.

Day 8: After breakfast (included), check out of the hotel and be ready to continue our trip to Campeche and Mérida for a 3 night stay. Campeche is located at the edges of the Gulf of Mexico, west of the Yucatan peninsula. It was founded in the year 1541, this city was ordered fortified by the Spanish Crown to fend off attacks by pirates. Remnants of the original fortress that surrounded the town are still visible. This city is now a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Lunch & Dinner on own.

Day 9: After breakfast (included), Merida City Tour. Mérida city founded on the year of 1542 and current capital of the state of Yucatán. Lunch & Dinner on own.

Day 10: After breakfast (included), tour of Uxmal located northwest of the Yucatan peninsula, the archeological center of Uxmal is placed as an important part of the late classic period (600-900 AC) Mayan culture.

Overnight in Mérida. Lunch & Dinner on own.

Day 11: After breakfast (included), check-out of hotel and be ready to visit Chichén-Itzá; this Mayan archeological site has been recently selected among the new wonders of the world. We will continue to Cancún were you will enjoy the soft breeze of the beautiful Mexican Caribbean ocean. Lunch on own. Dinner included

Day 12: After breakfast (included), check out of hotel and be ready to fly back to Phoenix, where we will continue to Tucson & Green Valley by private motor coach. Lunch & Dinner on own. End of the journey.
