Mata Ortiz, world famous Pottery artisans Village. Where we will have a pottery making exhibition by Jorge Quintana, one of the most talented and famous Mata Ortiz artisans.During “shopping time” you can visit the shops or the houses of the Mata Ortiz artisans.

ITINERARY

Day 1:
Departure at 8:00 am from Green Valley Mall Parking Lot at Esperanza Blvd. behind Texaco Gas Station. Lunch at the last of the Grand Hotels “The historical Gadsden Hotel” in Douglas, AZ (included)
Visit the Museum and Ruins in Paquime. Check in at Hacienda Hotel in Casas Grandes, Chihuahua. Dinner (on own)

Day 2:
After Breakfast at the hotel (on own) depart to Mata Ortiz; in our way we will visit Colonia Juarez (Mormon Colony)
Arrive at Mata Ortiz for Pottery Demonstration and shopping. (Lunch and dinner included). We will be back at Hotel Hacienda.

Day 3:
After breakfast (on own), we will check out the hotel and take the road back home; We will stop for lunch in Palomas at the most colorful place “The Pink Store“ (included) after lunch we will cross the border into USA trough Columbus, New Mexico. End of journey.
